General Description: McCredie Hot Springs was once a historic resort in the Williamette National Forest along the Salt Creek in Western Oregon. There are a few pools on both sides of the creek. This hot springs are free and get alot of foot traffic because they are close to the highway. Clothing is optional.
Location: From Eugene, Oregon it is about an hour or 52 miles.

Accessibility: This hot springs gets alot of foot traffic because the hot springs is close to the highway. You can drive right up to the hot springs. It is a short walk to the hot springs about 200 yards.

Hot Springs: McCredie Hot Springs has rock walled man made pools that border the beautiful Salt Creek. The hot springs temperature can range from 98-115 degrees. The temperature fluctuates with the season. The pools size can change with the seasons. The largest pool averages 30-35 feet across and the smallest is 2-3 feet. The bottom is primarily made up of silt, sand and gravel. There are hot springs on both sides of the creek. Use caution temperatures can exceed 125 degrees.
Hot Spring Tips: McCredie Hot Springs is open all year. There is limited parking. This hot springs is free. Clothing is optional. There is a toilet use. Day use only. There is no camping at the hot springs. Use caution the hot springs can be scalding. This hot springs is pet friendly. Dogs need to be on a leash. No dogs in hot springs.
